API directors in Costa Rica alerted us early on Sunday, May 22 that the Turrialba Volcano was becoming active, emitting ash and gas, but no lava or explosions were reported. They have confirmed that all students are safe and accounted for, and there are no major warnings at this time. We will provide updates as the situation warrants.
